Worship Teams

The Worship teams exist to provide a passionate and life-giving worship experience that is driven by gratitude, humility, and desperation for God.  Through the gift of music we lead people into God’s presence so they may know and love Him more.

Vocals

 Our choir and ensemble provides leadership and support during the praise and worship time in all services.  Not only do they learn and memorize the songs with excellence, but they are an example of a worshipper on and off the platform.  Those interested in joining this team will need to demonstrate their ability to sing, learn music quickly, and be comfortable on the platform.

Band

Our band provides instrumental support during the praise and worship time in all the weekend services.  Just like the vocal team, they learn and memorize the songs with excellence and are an example of a worshipper on and off the platform.  Those interested in joining this team will need to demonstrate their ability to play their instrument with excellence, know how to read chord charts, learn music fairly quickly and musically blend in with the team. 

Sound

The sound team is responsible for the sound quality of everything that is heard during all services.  We treat the sound board like the instruments being played on stage.  While we continually train our sound team to develop their technical skills, there is also a musical element to mixing sound that is important.  Experience with a large sound board as well as some experience with music is preferred.

Lights

The lighting team helps develop a mood in the worship center by controlling light levels, movement and color.  A general understanding of light concepts and computer work are needed in order to be successful.  We will train on the particular lighting program that we use.  Lighting Team members are expected to be at rehearsals on the weeks that they are serving.

Multimedia

The multimedia team is responsible for everything that is seen on the screens.  Multimedia Team members attend Wednesday night worship team rehearsals and upload the lyrics for the weekend’s worship.  They also get an advanced copy of the sermon and the notes and prepare them for the large screens, as well.  This position calls for someone that is very comfortable working with computers.  Experience with Media-Shout is a plus, but not a requirement.

Drama Team

Drama is a flexible art because it communicates in so many different ways.  It can be funny or serious and can cause a variety of reactions.  Our drama team prepares short pieces as well as full length productions for the purpose of conveying the Truths and Principles found in God’s Word.  We are willing to be all things, so that by all possible means we might save some.
